One Less App, and My Time Back, Please!
A MySuperbills user who found the service through Grok submitted nine therapy superbills successfully, and chose the mobile-friendly website over downloading an app on purpose: he is actively trying to spend less time on his phone, not add another app, password, and notification to it. The best technology does not demand more attention, it gives people their time back.
We recently spoke with a MySuperbills user who found us through Grok, submitted his first therapy superbill for free, and saw it successfully applied toward his insurance deductible. Then he came back and submitted eight more superbills.
But what really caught my attention was why he chose our mobile-friendly website over downloading another app. He told us he actively tries to spend less time on his phone. Even when he picks it up to do something productive, it’s easy to slide into unintentional scrolling. He wants to keep his phone free for other things, not add another task to it.
And it got me thinking.
We’ve become so focused on making everything accessible from our phones that we sometimes forget people are trying to get off them. We often assume convenience means putting everything into an app. But sometimes convenience means sitting down at your computer, finishing what you came to do, and walking away. Nobody wakes up excited to submit an insurance claim. It’s one of those tasks that sits on your to-do list, often for weeks or months, because life keeps getting in the way. And the last thing anyone needs is another app, another password, another notification competing for their attention.
The best technology doesn’t demand more of your attention. It gives you your time back. That’s what MySuperbills is all about: less time dealing with insurance paperwork, and more time for everything else.
