About MySuperbills

As parents, we found ourselves making hard decisions about our children’s care when choosing out-of-network (OON) providers because they were the right fit, not because they were affordable. We paid out of pocket, hoping insurance would reimburse us, but with little clarity on what to expect. At a time when our focus should have been on our families, we were left navigating paperwork, uncertainty and financial stress.

Despite six out of ten Americans having out-of-network benefits[1], most never use them[2]. The reimbursement process is confusing and easy to put off. Reimbursement claims start with a superbill that’s often hard to read and prone to errors. In 2024, more than one in three OON claims were denied[3]. Weeks can pass before finding out something was missing and even when reimbursements arrive, they’re difficult to track or reconcile. It’s a frustrating, time-consuming system that puts the burden on patients.

So we built MySuperbills.

Our vision is simple: give families clarity upfront and make reimbursement seamless when using their out-of-network benefits. MySuperbills uses AI to prepare claims for accuracy and completeness, helping avoid the administrative errors that drive almost two-thirds of denials[4]. We submit claims electronically to speed up processing—often by 50% or more—and provide a clear, easy-to-follow dashboard so you always know where your claim stands and when to expect payment directly from your insurer.

And if something goes wrong, we’ve got you. Whether it’s a resubmission or resolving an issue, our team handles it so you can focus on your care, not the paperwork.

This is personal for us. And we’re building the platform we wish we had. One that makes it easier for families to access the care they need and get reimbursed for the benefits they’ve already paid for.

Insurance portals are a black box for almost everyone, and nearly every family has experienced some insurance hassle along the way. We appreciate your support as we continue building and demystifying this process. We encourage users to share ideas to help us improve.
